วัสดุที่ใช้ในการต่อเรือ การเชื่อมโลหะ ส่วนที่กั้นห้องต่างๆ ในเรือ ผนึกกันน้ำและประตูกันน้ำ การกัดกร่อนและวิธีป้องกัน การตรวจเรือและการขึ้นอู่แห้ง ผลกระทบของการทรงตัวของเรือต่อทริม การทรงตัวของเรือในกรณีที่เกิดความเสียหายจากน้ำท่วมภายในเรือและการใช้มาตรการในการแก้ไข ทฤษฎีที่กระทบต่อการทำงานของทริมและการทรงตัวของเรือภายใต้ข้อกำหนดที่เกี่ยวข้องกับข้อบังคับระหว่างประเทศและอนุสัญญาระหว่างประเทศ ผลกระทบต่อทริมและการทรงตัวของเรือเมื่อเกิดการเสียการทรงตัว
